Conducting a Social Security number Verification is the crucial first step in the background screening process.
Applicants with something to hide often use fraudulent social security numbers (SSN). The information contained in the
Social Security Trace report would include all names used such as maiden name and or AKA’s, and previous addresses used by the applicant in the last seven years, and all relevant personal information.
USBS, Inc. works diligently to protect the privacy of the candidates we screen by removing the last 4 digits of the social security number and the year of birth from our final reports. In addition, the final report is provided “only” to the designated contact or hiring manager at our client companies.
Our clients appreciate the convenience of our Automated Response System by logging in with a secure username and password. Once signed in, our clients have the ability to place new requests, view and print completed reports, check status of pending requests, view invoicing, and manage all the details relating to their account.
Our physical research that is done in the courts is verified before it is delivered to our clients. When we obtain criminal records we compare all of the available identifiers to ensure that we are delivering accurate results to our clients.
